After the defending champions failed to close-out the young talented Sacramento Kings on Friday Night in game 6, with the dubs suffering a 118-99 blowout loss to extend the series to game 7. Over the next 45 hours, most of the NBA journalistic commentary would predict the team from the bays' old legs would be the end to the Warriors dynasty, and their dominance of the NBA Western Division. The Golden State Warriors turned back the clock, and avenged their 19 point loss with a 20 point dominating effort of their own.

The 100-120 victory sets the stage for Stephen Curry and the Warriors to host LeBron James and the Lakers in a legacy defining semi-finals series at Chase Center starting Tuesday Night.

The five Golden State Warriors starters out scored the five Sacramento Kings' starters 59-102, with Stephen Curry scoring a game-high 50 points, while setting the NBA record for the most points scored in a game 7 of a playoff series. Green and Looney added 19, with Kevon contributing 22 rebounds, Wiggins and Thompson scored 33, while holding Fox and Monk to well below their game averages. The plus/minus differential was the most revealing of all:

Game 7 - Thompson +30 Curry +25 Wiggins +25 Green +25 Looney +25

Sabonis -22 Barnes -20 Murray -17 Fox -20 Huerter -20

Game 6 - Sabonis +11 Barnes 0 Murray +17 Fox +20 Huerter +14

Thompson -28 Curry -16 Wiggins -7 Poole -14 Looney-19

No one is sure which version of the defending champions will take to the court of Chase Center on Tuesday Night. Will it be the mindless turnover prone, poor shot selection, defensive intensity-lacking team that played games 1, 2, and 6 of this series, or the example of the team that put their championship DNA on display in game 7? If Golden State Warriors decide play at the level played in game 7 of this series, the semi-finals will be a legacy defining for both the defending champions and Stephen Curry.
